Here it is for me. When I read this quote from Keri Rodrigues I felt it at my core:

"what we as parents and families are saying is that it’s raining. It’s raining right now. It has been raining, it’s continuing to rain. It’s a monsoon. Please spend these resources. You’ve got to spend this money instead of holding on to it and hoping that you’ll have it for the next crisis. The crisis is now. "

I know that states and districts are working hard to process, implement, and iterate on spending plans. We are seeing promising examples of these investments (see the https://edurecoveryhub.org/). But, we just are not seeing the healing and transformation that we know these investments can have for our kids.
